The Speech and Language Processing Laboratory is located in Room 18, in the EMMRC Building of The EFL University campus.
Acoustically treated room
The lab is equipped with an acoustically treated room which can accomodate 2 people at a time.
Ultrasound imaging
The lab has an Ultrasound system for simultaneous speech and tongue imaging from Articulate Instruments, UK. This system is equipped with a two probes:
- Radius 10mm; Frequency 5-8MHz; FOV 156°
- Radius 20mm; Frequency 2-4MHz; FOV 104°
Workstations
The lab has several Apple Macbook laptops that can be used for general computing and data analyses.
